Exceeded my every expectation - that's how I would describe our two week tour of England. The brain is still foggy, and the chores are waiting, but the mood is certainly one of exhilaration as I look back on our wonderful trip.  More to come......

Oh, I think the subtitle of our blog should include how many fattening meals can one eat????

REALLY GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS

Ok, the trip is only 10 days away and panic mode is setting in! Big question of the day - what clothes to bring? London is having an unseasonably warm and sunny spring, but when you get right down to it, we're only spending a few days there.  After heading southeast a bit we then wend our way north to the lakes district and a CHECK OF THEIR WEATHER shows a decidedly different story. Showers and chilly temperatures - low 50's at best.

Do I head to LLBean and buy that raincoat I saw?
